I enjoyed happy hour and dinner on a rainy night. While there were only two servers working, they handled the dinner rush like a boss. Satisfying spaghetti, yummy cocktails and wine, I will have to make a point to add this to my weekday stops. Brava Grata!

What a cute and cozy spot right in downtown Windsor! I got to try their cesar salad wrap with a side of salad. They did not skimp on the filling and nearly all my filling dropped out from the bottom - whoops! Nonetheless, the wrap was delicious even while eaten when it was deconstructed. The service is on point; our waitress was helpful in making recommendations and getting us everything that we needed. It was surprising that it was quiet for a Sunday afternoon. Be sure to stop by and walk over to farmer's market just a few blocks away!

Great food, great service, good people, and outstanding atmosphere. We ordered the Cesar salad, hanger steak/potatoes, and the dad's chocolate cake which had hazelnut toffee crumbles on top. it's casual but refined. I definitely recommend everything on the menu and our server was the best! She was bubbly, attentive, and informative. She gave us great recommendations on food. The outdoor patio was sub a cute vibe and not too busy but yet lively.

Really enjoyed this place, generous servings, even of the wine pours. Great waitress and good fresh flavors. Bad thing is they use rice noodles as their gluten free pasta. Not appropriate for pasta, it was like eating pho or ramen (soggy) with Italian sauce. Weird.

I am grateful for Grata Italian Restaurant! I love this Windsor neighborhood eatery! It is so beautiful with such an intimate feel whether dining inside or on the lovely patio. Clean, fresh, and elegantly decorated and designed. Warm customer service from walking thru the doors and throughout our dinner service. Delicious and thoughtfully prepared mouth-watering dishes. This was my second visit to Grata. I was excited to return. Making a reservation on OpenTable was easy. Arriving on time and greeted with a welcoming smile, hostess Leslie took us to the patio as I had requested. It was a nice evening, and diners were already celebrating happy hump day or perhaps happy hour!:) We came at the tail end of HH, so why not embibe. Three HH appetizers, please. Arancini, pear and endive brushetta, and chilled oysters with a prosecco cucumber mignonette. After a tiny taste of two whites (thank you, Maddy), I chose the crisp Chardonnay, which was not on the HH list. All three appetizers were fabulous! And at $6 each, an unbelievable bargin. Wow! (Photos included) We were off to a sumptuous start. After apps, we decided to share the Chicken Parmasan. What a great selection. Fried Mary's organic chicken breast cutlet with melted provolone and parmesan, spaghetti, and marinara basil. OMG! Every part of this dish came together with such outstanding flavors. The chicken was lightly breaded, moist, and had the perfect crunch factor. The sauce was amazing, and noodles were cooked to "al dente" perfection. I am still thinking about that entrèe. And if it could not possibly get any better...it did! Let's talk dessert:) Ricotta Zeppoli. It does not get more Italian than that. Right! Warm cinnamon donut holes with nutella chocolate sauce. We were over-the-top splurging. Why not kick it up a notch and order a scoop of the pistachio gelato (lol). Eaten together...best dessert EVER. Dense, soft, moist donut holes, chocolate sauce, rich, thick, creamy gelato...decadent! Almost in food coma nirvana, we both agreed it was one of our top dining experiences in a very long time. Fantastic food, classy and upscale ambiance, and delightful wait person equals a wonderful and fun evening out in the charming town of Windsor (Sonoma wine country)! If you are anywhere near Grata Italian Restaurant, I heartily recommend it with all my taste buds:). Ciao!

Grata is my new go-to spot in Sonoma! My boyfriend and I were headed out for a day of wine tasting and decided to stop by for brunch right as they opened. They had a large, bright patio outside and we decided to sit facing the street. Our waiter was friendly and the service was quick, which was to be expected as we were the only ones there for a while. I got the grilled cheese and mortadella with fries and my boyfriend got the spicy fried chicken sandwich. Both were delish, and the fries were exactly the kind I like - on the thinner side, not too crispy, salty, and fresh out of the oven. The best part? The mimosas were only $5!!! And they were liberal with the prosecco so much so, that I had two Our entire meal was only $40, such a steal nowadays. Can't wait to come back and try their huge selection of pastas!

Googled restaurants near the hotel we were staying in, as my husband and I were on a work/leisure trip from Sacramento. My husband loves Italian food so he was very excited to come across this place. We made reservations and were immediately sat upon our arrival. We made it in time for happy hour which always exciting. We started with the meatball sliders and the pear and endive bruschetta. The sliders were delicious but I could have done without the bread. The bruschetta was light and delicious. The flavors complimented each other very well and it wasn't a heavy appetizer. We did also order the Foccacia and my husband said it was the best he'd ever had. For the entree I ordered the goat cheese and ricotta ravioli. The sauce it comes in was one of the best things I have ever tasted. It was salty and thick and calmed the goat cheese down. I also really enjoyed the addition of the mushrooms. 10/10 highly recommend. I forgot to take a picture of it but I did order the pistachio gelato for dessert. It was topped with balsamic which I have never tried before and was very pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be stopping in each time we visit the Windsor/Healdsburg area. Our server Maddie was great!

My wife heard GRATA had a great happy hour and we just had to experience it. For HH, we had the Mediterranean olives which were warm and flavorful. The Pizza, Pear Endive Bruschetta and Meatball Sliders were also delicious. We also ordered the Halibut prepared piccata over white beans and a side of the spicy garlic broccolini. The service was friendly and helpful. The interior design was beautiful. We'll definitely be back:)

Peach burrata salad and the spicy clams were my personal favorites but the other dishes were all very good. The broccolini had a great spicy oil. Little gem Caesar Peach and burrata Broccolini Brussels sprouts Mixed veggies Spicy clams Pappardelle in bolognese
